Looking for a change and a new challenge, Ruth entered the real estate industry in 2004 as a sales assistant/Girl Friday to her mother, Ray Whites top performing salesperson Lesley Hawes. With so many valuable skills developed over a decade in the people industry of nursing, Ruth found transferring these talents to her new role a lot easier than she’d imagined. Quickly finding her feet in the new environment, Ruth made the most of every bit of training and mentoring offered by Lesley and has established her own success story over the past 7 years. Moving from a support role into selling in 2006, when the family opened the doors of their office in Kingsland, Ruth has put her excellent communication and relationship skills into good use with the pair creating a formidable working partnership across the city fringe property market. Her warm and engaging personality and the tireless energy and passion for delivering the very best of service have made Ruth a hit with sellers and buyers alike. Putting her clients needs first is paramount and the steady flow of testimonials from satisfied customers speak for themselves.
2009 saw Ruth awarded the Ray White Elite Award (top 2% ranking in the company) for the first time and she finished the year ranked No 9 Supreme Salesperson in the Ray White NZ group. In 2010 she reached the pinnacle of success in the Ray White NZ Group by achieving the Number One Salesperson award. She puts her success down to lots of hard work, having clear and inspiring goals, incredibly loyal clients and of course the huge support from family and friends. The future is looking very bright for this high performing ‘Local’ – 2011 is all about building on her success and continuing to deliver outstanding service and results.
